The Newport Beach-based showrooms of Lamborghini, Ferrari, and McLaren, owned by the same company, need no excuse to host a supercar show and invite their customers and friends to come over for a weekend of automotive goodness. The most recent event was the  December 2015 Supercar Show at Lamborghini Newport Beach, and here are the McLaren highlights of the event.

The car that attracted the most attention this time, in absence of C J Wilson’s purplish P1, was a classy blue McLaren P1 that looked utterly gorgeous in spite of its simplicity. The more interesting cars for us, however, were two limited edition 650 Series models. The first was the rare 650s Le Mans edition with its roof snorkel and retro wheels, and the second the 675LT distinguished by its extended carbon fiber aero kit, Storm Grey paint job, and of course, the Long Tail.

If we’re honest cars like the 12C and the 570S looked a bit out of place in this company. But there were a few examples, like that Gulf-liveried 12C that stood out and were interesting to look at.
