In one of the latest projects, BMW specialists at Manhart Performance turned their attention to the biggest member of the Bimmer family, boosting the performance of the X5M to over 700 horsepower. Manhart BMW X5M MHX5 700 is up there with offerings from Hamann and G-Power.
Starting with the base engine which is a 4.4 liter bi-turbo unit developing 570 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, the tuner offers a performance upgrade kit that includes the MHtronik Control Unit with 656 hp and 861Nm, and a custom exhaust system with catless downpipes, 300 cell HJS sport catalysts, and 100mm tailpipes. With that the output of Manhart BMW X5M surges to 700 horsepower. For those who still want more, the tuner can do another software upgrade with up to 800 hp.
As for the visual features, Manhart BMW X5M MHX5 700 comes with a set of Concave One wheels in sizes 10,5″ x 22 with 295/30/22 tires up front and 11,5″ x 22 with 335/25/22 out back. They are complemented with H&R lowering springs. You can also opt for a matte wrap like the grey one on this car and an AWRON display inside the cabin in place of one of the air vents. Manhart vehicles have always been more about the substance than appearance.
