Jaguar F Type SVR 0 600x357 at First Look: Jaguar F Type SVR

As if there wasn’t enough variants of the F-Type already available, Jaguar has prepared yet another new model which they will most likely introduce at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. It’s a good one though, the new Jaguar F-Type SVR, sitting at the top of the food chain with a 575 horsepower engine.

The SVR on this car means it is a product of Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Operations unit. That means it will be produced in limited numbers and come sporting a fat price tag. That also means Jaguar F-Type SVR is going to be seriously quick, properly loud, and pretty awesome to look at.

As you can see in these leaked images taken from the car’s official brochure, Jaguar F-Type SVR comes with a bespoke body kit with larger air intakes at the front, revised sills and skirts, 20-inch wheels, and a fixed rear spoiler. This car is like a toned-down version of the F-Type Project 7 which is already sold out.

According to the official figures, the SVR F-Type’s supercharged V8 engine develops 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, which is enough to propel the lightened car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and on to a top speed of over 320 km/h. The car also comes as a convertible which is a little bit slower.
