Prestigious Russian tuner Larte Design has unveiled their latest project, to be ready for this year’s Geneva Motor Show, in form of the Mercedes V-Class Black Crystal. The vehicle is pitched as a private airliner for the roads, and it certainly looks like it.
Unlike most other luxury V-Class models, Larte Mercedes V-Class Black Crystal does not shy away from showing off its super deluxe interior by boasting an equally impressive exterior. The van is equipped with the tuner’s Black Crystal styling kit they first developed for the GL-Class, featuring new front and rear bumpers with inlaid crystals to lend credibility to the name.
But Larte Mercedes V-Class Black Crystal is mostly about the interior and the rear passenger compartment. Here they have enlisted the services of German company Klassen who specializes in VIP car interiors to create a unique, limo-style environment. Some of the highlights include finest leather and materials, comfort seats, minibars, advanced communication, lighting and entertainment electronics including multiple screens and an Alpine audio system. There is even a safe in this car with a biometric lock. In many ways, this vehicle trumps the likes of Rolls-Royce Phantom and Mercedes-Maybach.
