New Top Gear Cast 600x382 at Full Cast Revealed for the New Top Gear

Following last week’s announcement regarding the addition of Matt LeBlanc to the the new Top Gear as co-host, the BBC has now revealed the full cast of presenters for the show. It’s a pretty diverse crew including Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris, Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz,  and Rory Reid.

Now, this is Top Gear a team BBC could be happy with. It includes a person of color and a woman, plus various nationalities including American, British, German, even Pakistani (if what we’ve heard about Chris Harris being a Pakistani Brit is true).

This colorful group of presenters is led by Chris Evans who is the most famous of the bunch in the UK, while Matt LeBlanc will be in charge of adding a bit of sex appeal to the show and attract foreign viewers. Meanwhile Chris Harris and Sabine Schmitz will do most of the driving and sliding about in fast cars. As for ex-F1 star Eddie Jordan and journalist Rory Reid, well, who cares what they do in the show. They’re not interesting.

Chris Evans has also claimed The Stig, a Clarkson creation, for himself. Chances are he will only do the lap times and none of the shenanigans he got up to in the old Top Gear. The new TG is just too crowded for The Stig to really shine. The show will return on BBC on May 8.
