BMW released detailed specs of the new M3 and M4 Competition Package, tarted up version of the standard sports saloon and coupe which come with a little bit more power and a whole lot more M goodness. The Competition Pack models get 450 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.
But extra power is only a small part of what you get from BMW M3 and M4 Competition Package. Other highlights include a revised Adaptive M Suspension featuring new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, along with reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+), re-tuned Active M Differential on the rear axle and DSC Dynamic Stability Control, and 20-inch M alloy wheels with exclusive multi-spoke M styling shod with 265/30 R20front and 285/30 R20 rear tires.
As for the visual features, the M3 and M4 Competition Package models come with M sports exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes, BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim, BMW kidney grille, side gills and model badge on the tail. These are complemented inside with special lightweight M sports seats and seatbelts with woven-in BMW M stripes cap off an extremely sporty interior ambience. BMW M fans love this kind of little details.
Prices for these upgraded cars start from (UK) £59,595 for the M3 Saloon, £60,055 for the M4 Coupe, and £63,350 for the M4 Convertible.
