If you recall from our previous reports on the RENNtech Mercedes AMG GT, this program started out as a project car for the 2015 SEMA show. It has now graduated into a full fledged tuning kit for the AMG GT, available to order at RENNtech and their authorized dealers.

On the occasion of the kit’s release RENNtech planned a special photoshoot with their partners at ADV1 Wheels and guest star Tony Kanaan, the famous Indy driver who has a penchant for fast Mercs. Kanaan is going to find RENNtech Mercedes AMG GT right up his alley, especially as it can now be had with up to 715 horsepower. Being a racing driver, he will also appreciate the carefully designed carbon aero kit on this car.

Also present at the shoot was RENNtech’s boss, and former AMG top engineer, Hartmut Feyhl. What he has planned for Mercedes AMG GT customers include a magnificent body kit including front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and an optional stripe package, lightweight Renntech10 Super Light Track Spec CS, coilover suspension, and power upgrade kit including ECU upgrade, Stage I turbocharger upgrade, downpipes w/ 200 cell sport cats and diverter valve.
