The second McLaren private track day event of 2016, known simply as Pure McLaren, hits Circuit of the Americas in Texas, United States of America, and as usual it creates some pretty spectacular scenes.

Pure McLaren, in case you don’t know, is an event for McLaren owners to experience the real performance of their cars in a safe environment and under the supervision of McLaren’s ace test drivers. It circles the globe and holds events at some of the world’s top circuits so owners from all around the world can attend at least one of them.

Now in Europe, McLaren owners can take part in more seeing as most of the circuits where Pure McLaren is held are within driving distance of their hometown. But in America, or Abu Dhabi, it’s mostly the local boys. The participants enjoy hours of pedal to the metal action as well as top-notch hospitality brought them by McLaren and socializing with fellow owners and enthusiasts.

Upcoming Pure McLaren track days, in case you want to attend one, include Paul Ricard circuit in France (May), Brands Hatch in UK (June), Hockenheimring, Germany (July), Silverstone, UK (September), and Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi (November).
