We’ve been wondering why Kahn Design was so quiet lately. Turns out they were preparing something rather special for the 2016 London Motor Show. It’s called the Ultimate Defender and described as a “true collector’s item” marking the end of production for the old Landie.
Kahn Design has already done that once with their Defender The End Edition, but this Ultimate Defender is apparently a lot cooler, boasting a Santorini Black, a wide body kit, a superb interior and a hefty price tag of £65,000.
The highlights of the exterior on this special SUV include wide body colored arches with integrated vents and exposed bolt apertures, new front bumper with fog lamps, X-Lander front grille, mesh hood vents and Kahn vinyl stripes, plus a set of 9.0” x 20” Mondial wheels in Volcanic Black, Burnt Orange Metallic brake calipers, twin cross-hair exhaust system and hard-wearing mud flaps.
Inside the cabin Kahn’s Ultimate Defender is adorned with front and rear GTB seats in Hield Fabric, leather wrapped centre glove box, passenger dashboard, handles, door panels, instrument binnacle, front door cards and boot panel, Churchill time clock, sat nav, reverse camera, Kahn billet and leather steering wheel, 4 speed auto gear box and vented machined aluminium foot pedals.
