As we have said before, to really appreciate what’s so good about a high-end, expensive wide body kit you have to see it next to ordinary cars. Well, that is the occasion we have here, and the wide body car in question is the magnificent Prior Design Mercedes AMG GT.

Now, this car looks mighty impressive in the heavily edited press photos, but we always had a little bit of reservations about it knowing not many tuner cars can bare close scrutiny out in the real world. But as you can clearly see here Prior Design Mercedes AMG GT passes the real world test with flying color. If anything, it looks better here in the midst of all those vans and hatchbacks and scooters. This setting really puts in perspective how vicious and aggressive the PD visual treatment truly is.

The details of the Prior Design Mercedes AMG GT include a full set of aero parts beginning with a spoiler lip up front complete with canards and flaps, side skirts, rear diffuser insert, and duck tail boot spoiler. Then we have the fenders extensions on the front and rear and the necessary sill and wing modifications to make them fit. After that a set of ultra-fat wheels is required to fill those massive fenders and an air suspension system to make the whole thing work.
