So the iconic Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is the end of the road and soon it will be consigned to the history books – at least until they realize they made a mistake and bring it back – as the very last production model is set to be auctioned. The last Lancer Evolution Final Edition, US1600, will be sold on eBay with all the proceeds going to charity.

The charity in question is Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, which explains why Mitsu is launching the online auction on September 8 and keep it going until September 15, as it corresponds with national Hunger Action Month. So go bid, and bid heavily, because not only you will be contributing to a good cause, you will only get a piece of automotive history and a damn good sports car to boot.

Inside, the highlights include black pillars, sun visors, assist handles and headliner, gloss black accents, red stitching on sports seats, steering wheel, shift knob, console lid, floormats, and e-brake, and Final Edition animation on meter display.
