The upcoming New York Auto Show in April will be the venue where Nissan introduces the GT-R fans to a new variant of the sports car. The 2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition has gotten the green light to go on sale in America where it offers a nice blend of premium features and exquisite performance for $127,990.

Among the main highlights of the 2017 Nissan GT-R Track Edition which might sway you to choose it over the rest of the lineup there are the Nismo-tuned suspension and Nismo 20 inch black alloy wheels, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, Recaro bucket seats in leather with red decoration to match the steering wheel, and standard NissanConnect with Navigation, Mobile Apps and Services. The car also comes with Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement as part of its BOSE sound system which should make it more refined.

But one buys the Nissan GT-R Track Edition for its track-focused performance. In that aspect, you get the GT-R proven credentials as a performance god, an ability which emerges as a sort of gestalt thing when you put together a 560 horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine, a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the unique independent rear transaxle ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system. If you are a GT-R geek you’d be happy to know that though it’s simplified a bit, you still get a 11-switch control panel on the dash plus an 8-inch capacitive touch panel monitor.
