The world is not short of body kits for the coupe version of the current Mercedes S-Class. This car has been a tuners’ favorite since the day it was released. But only a few of the available treatments are actually good enough to justify messing the car’s beautiful stock looks, and this new Prior Design Mercedes S-Coupe wide body kit is one of them.
It is a hard trick to pull making a super deluxe coupe like the S-Coupe look more sporty without sacrificing the car’s dignity. But with the Prior Design Mercedes S-Coupe PD75SC Widebody Aerodynamic Kit, to give its full title, manages to that nicely. That, we reckon, is partly due to the good design of the parts and how they match the overall design of the car, and partly because of the cool and dignified colors Prior has chosen for these examples. We’re not sure we would the same about this car when the first parvenu buyer wrap it in orange or bright green.
As for the ingredients of Prior Design Mercedes S-Coupe package, the include custom wide body front bumper and add-on lip spoiler, front fender intake frames, side skirts complete with aero blades, front and rear fender extension, and custom rear bumper with a diffuser insert. Optionally, you can choose a fixed rear spoiler for the trunk which looks surprisingly good, and also go for a set of exclusive wheels provided Prior Design.
