Though it has been around for ages – in fact it is starting to look like one of those pre-historic fish fossils – the 370Z is not slated for a refresh just yet. What Nissan keeps doing with it is roll out special editions, trying to milk whatever is left of the market for this model. So feast your eyes on the 2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition.

This latest special edition Fairlady is built because of an excuse which is frankly BS. They say 2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition is an homage to the Nissan sports car, the Z series, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary… at the end of the decade! So they are jumping ahead three years here, which would be fine if the so-called Heritage edition had something really remarkable. But the changes on this model are all cosmetic and not very profound ones at that.

Based on the 2018 modelyear, the Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition new headlight and rear combination light treatment, new rear fascia paint scheme, smoke chrome door handles and new EXEDY high-performance clutch for manual models. The extras from the Heritage treatment include two paint schemes: Chicane Yellow Heritage Edition features black outside mirrors, gloss black graphics and yellow interior trim, and Magnetic Black Heritage Edition includes gloss silver graphics and yellow interior trim.

Performance-wise, it’s the same old thing including a standard 332-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) and a choice of 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM).
