The summer of 2017 is shaping up to be amazing for BMW fans, as the Bavarian company is about to unleash an army of fun to drive cars. There is the new rear-drive 1 Series in some pretty hot guises, and then there is this, the 2018 BMW 2 Series which comes in both coupe and convertible forms and some hot engines to boot.
Design-wise, the 2018 BMW 2 Series comes with revised front-end featuring bi-LED headlights, larger kidney grille, and sculpted air intakes for a more serious look. The rear end likewise cuts a muscular figure, the single-piece rear lights (LEDs as standard) with hallmark BMW L-shape extending well into the flanks.

As for the interior, bot model benefit from an all-new design for the instrument panel with elegant details such as contrast stitching and high-gloss black surfacing for the centre stack and the chrome elements for the control panels in the doors, new cloth or leather seat upholstery variants, interior trim strips in aluminium or fine wood and high-gloss black panels with chrome accents.

In terms of powertrains, although you get a range of three-, four- and six-cylinder engines for the 2018 BMW 2 Series, the one you want, is the M240i with 340 hp horsepower, preferably with Drive intelligent all-wheel drive. This setup will propel the coupe from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds.
