The AMG V8 version of the modern SL family – from R230 onwards – have always been the greatest versions you could buy and the new Mercedes SL63 AMG is no exception. This time with the 63 you get the nice looks of the facelift model – with its sporty bumpers and new head and taillights – combined with the oomph and growl of that magnificent 5.5 liter AMG V8 engine.

The 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine on board the SL63 generates an output of 430 kW (585 hp) and peak torque of 900 Newton metres. If that is not satisfying for you, there is also the SL65, powered by a 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine rated at 463 kW (630 hp) and delivering 1000 Newton metres of peak torque.
