Lamborghini decided to end 2016 on a high note by introducing a new, hotter version of their flagship super car. The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S comes with a whole host of upgrades, including revised looks, uprated chassis and suspension, a new four-wheel-steering system and, of course, more power.

The extra power you get with the Lamborghini Aventador S is not a substantial amount (only 40 horsepower), but since the car can take off from zero and crack the 100 km/h barrier 2.9 seconds later and keep accelerating until it hits 350 km/h, there really is no ground for complaining here. You can, however, praise the new V12 Lambo for it enhanced dynamics, brought on by the new active suspension, new four-wheel steering system and the new EGO driving mode.

The first-ever application of rear-wheel-steering in a Lamborghini works in tandem in the Aventador S with Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS), Lamborghini Magneto-rheological Suspension (LMS), and Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Attiva (LDVA) control unit to make the super car a sweet handling monster. Of course, purists are going to scoff at Lamborghini Aventador S for being not scary enough, but Lambo argues they have a new EGO driving mode which should replicate the terror of driving their older models.

Visually, too, the Aventador S is substantially modified, what with a new apron at the front featuring a more aggressive bumper, new Huracan-like rear apron with a new tailpipe design, and little changes made to the aero parts to make the car more stable at high speed. The S will hit the market next Spring, sporting the following price tags:
