The new generation of Ford Mustang with its new 5.0 liter V8 has been on the headlines since the moment Ford introduced it, and apparently it’s going to stay there for a long time! Today Jack Roush, the owner of ROUSH Performance, who is responsible for some of the finest tuned Mustangs has released the initial details of their package for the 2011 Mustang 5.0.

Roush says that they have extensive programs to increase the power of ‘Stang’s 5.0 liter V8 like the ROUSHCharger, but it’s too soon to talk about that! So for now we should just now that there’s two versions of Stage1 and Stage2 Roush Mustangs, each come with a special OEM-quality ROUSH body plus suspension and chassis tuning.

“The 2011 ROUSH Stage 1 and Stage 2 Mustangs will represent an incredible value by blending appearance and handling with an amazing base Ford engine package,” said Jack Roush. “I expect that the 2011 Stage 1 and Stage 2 ROUSH Mustangs could come close to matching the performance of some ROUSHcharged Mustangs we have offered in prior model years which will make them extremely exciting to drive and at a reasonable starting price point.”
