Days after Ford Racing announced new factory-made superchargers for the 2011 Mustang 5.0, the tuner Roush came up with their own version. While Ford’s superchargers can deliver 525 hp or 624 hp, Roush’s TVS2300 ROUSHcharger kit will be able to generate 550 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, which is less, but Ford’s cheapest kit costs 7,199 USD, while Roush offer it for $5,999.

Based on the popular TVS2300 ROUSHcharger, the 5.0L ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit comes with a 90mm pulley and generates an estimated seven pounds of boost. Included in the kit are 47 lb. fuel injectors, high-flow fuel rails, a high-flow ROUSH air lid, and a twin 60mm throttle body. The heavy-duty ROUSH tensioner is included for the first FEAD belt.
