It is just about time for Mercedes to replace their high performance SUV ML63 with a new one. Here’s a good speculative rendering based on the latest spyshots of the car.

Although it’s a bit too soon to say for sure how the car looks like, but undoubtedly it will feature some of the design cues from other Mercedes models. In this rendering we see the headlights of the new CLS, which surprisingly suit the ML. The car is also expected to get slightly bigger, more on the par with the GL, and features an all-new rear-end design. Maybe this time it won’t look like a tall van!

As for the engine, expect to see the new 5.5 liter Biturbo V8 in this car instead of the current 6.3 liter unit. Not only the new engine is more efficient, it will also produce significantly more power. AMG will make sure the car gets what it needs to rival BMW X5 and X6M and Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

New York Auto Show or Frankfurt IAA show will see the new ML63 AMG in its full glory.
