Evo Magazine’s editor Henry Catchpole waited for the dust to settle at the Geneva Auto Salon, which was on earlier this month, and then went for a private, in-depth look at the undisputed star of the show, the Lamborghini Aventador J. The J, as you know, was built in just six weeks as a one-off project for a super wealthy customer. The new Jota can also be considered as a preview for the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.

The technical basis for the Aventador J is the Aventador LP 700-4, Lamborghini’s new twelve-cylinder model. Presented in 2011, the Aventador has been acclaimed by customers and journalists alike. Its super-fast ISR transmission, permanent all-wheel drive and push-rod suspension combine this potent power with the utmost handling precision.
