Celebrating their years of fruitful partnership, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. and Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur together unveiled a limited edition of the Gallardo exclusively for the Malaysian market. The Gallardo MLE (Malaysia Limited Edition) is one of the more special rear-wheel-drive Gallardo LP550-2 models, and it’s limited to only 20 units.
The exterior appears to inspired by the Gallardo Superleggera, but not just as aggressive. It gets black air intakes at front, as well as carbon side skirts, rear diffuser and wing mirrors. The car will be available in 3 colours, Bianco Monocerus (solid white), Verde Ithaca (pearl green) and Arancio Borealis (pearl orange). Interior is trimmed in a mixture of leather and Alcantara.
As for the technicalities, the name reveals that Gallardo MLE has 550 hp. The V10 engine also makes 510 Nm of torque. It’s not clear, however, if this version is offered with manual gearbox or is it just E-Gear.
In Malaysia each Gallardo MLE will cost well over half a million USD after duties and taxes.
