Lamborghini just released a very mysterious teaser video announcing that they will be unveiling something new at the upcoming Paris Motor Show September 27. It has something to do with the Gallardo, as the video suggests, and it’s called the Nova, as the video description suggests. Don’t get too excited though. It’s not the replacement for Gallardo.

We had been hearing rumors about one last special edition Lamborghini Gallardo as a swansong model for the baby bull. This is almost certainly it. If you look carefully at the teaser video you will notice some very familiar parts already used on some versions of the Gallardo.

Still, every new Lambo – even a special edition – is something to celebrate:

As for the Gallardo replacement, allegedly called the Cabrera, it is due in 2014 and it’s like a production version of the Sesto Elemento. It will be very different than the current Gallardo. We’re gonna miss Galla when it’s gone!
