SR Auto Ford Mustang American Dream Project

American Dream 1 at SR Auto Ford Mustang American Dream Project

For this project, which is an homage to the great American icon that is Ford Mustang, SR Auto picked a really old one. They wanted to see if they could bring it to the 21st century standards. Not that it’s an ancient car, but anyway, they decided to go from there. And they pulled off, but the looks of things, even though mods are not that deep.

The silver Mustang garnished with black stripes is fitted with a set of 18-inch Niche Circuit wheels in matte black. They contribute to the enhanced styling, which is also complemented by the aero kit and the sports grille, among other things. But the main highlight here is the H&R lowering springs used to drop the car, slam it on the wheels.

The things, is, they just lowered the car. The rear axle is still very ‘live’ which means you still get an old-fashioned handling – and by old-fashioned we mean… ermm… rubbish. Performance-wise the car gets a sprint booster for better throttle response and a Magnaflow catback exhaust system.
