The Ferrari specialist Novitec Rosso announced their first upgrade package for the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta as the first units of the car begin to reach their owners. Visual treatment for now is limited to a new set of wheels and adjusted suspension, but you do get performance upgrade.

Novitec engineers have remapped the F12’s electronic brain and changed its injection and ignition settings. It boosted the power from 740 hp to 763 hp, with peak torque of 703 Nm. They have also tweaked the throttle response and the program that controls the 7-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission. With the added power Novitec’s F12 can reach a staggering top speed of 345 km/h.

The exhaust system is the next part of the F12 changed in this program. The tuner has fitted it with valves and stuff, so the driver can control the noise it makes via the Manettino switch on the steering wheel.

As for the wheels and tires, Novitec currently offers two tailored setup for the F12 with 21-inch wheels up front, and 22-inch at the back. The NF3 and NF4 wheels are both made of lightweight materials and only differ in terms of design and finish. The are wrapped in Pirelli high-performance tires in size 255/30 ZR 21 for the front 335/25 ZR 22 tires for the rear.

Then there is Novitec’s suspension system that drops the F12 by 40mm, but at the same time offers a lift system for the front.

Stronger power packages for the F12’s engine are in the works, as well as an aerodynamic body kit. There is however an interior package available right now, offering a wide range of options from carbon-fiber shift paddles to exclusive Alcantara and leather upholstery in any color you desire.
