Audi unveiled the ultimate version of its A7 model in form of the RS7 Sportback at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. The sleek and handsome four-door coupe is powered by a 4.0 TFSI V8 engine with 412 kW (560 hp) and 700 Nm (516.29 lb-ft). And that is a lot.

So much in fact that it takes this rather sizable car with all its luxury and technology features from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds. Top speed depends on the optional package you go for. Normally its 155 mph (250 km/h), but Dynamic package will have it raised to 174 mph (280 km/h). Dynamic Plus package is the full-fat version, offering 190 mph (305 km/h).

The drivetrain also includes an 8-speed automatic transmission and the quattro AWD system. Thanks to cylinder on-demand system and other fuel saving measures, the RS7 does 24 US mpg, which is about 10 liter per 100 km. That is good for a car with this level of performance.

As for the chassis, you get the usual range of Audi’s adaptive this and active that to help you with the job of driving. You also have the choice of two suspension setups with either adaptive air system which is more comfortable, or the full dynamic ride control for a more spirited drive.

The car comes as standard with 20-inch wheels, while 21-inch rims are also available. Another high-end option you might be interested in is the ceramic disc brake package.

Visually, inside and out, the car is a typical Audi: a bit soulless and cold, but unbelievably beautiful and fabulous.
