Rendering: Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake

The Shooting Beak trend is still strong and there are a couple of new models in the pipeline to be launched over the next few years. That is why the idea of a Shooting Brake version of Aston Martin Rapid doesn’t sound outlandish at all. There actually might be a market for such a thing.
That said, as you can see in these renderings, such car will be a real challenge for Aston designers. It is hard mixing practicality with beauty, especially the kind of beauty that Aston Martins should have. If you sit in a Rapide you’ll see what I mean. Despite its large proportions, the Rapide is kinda cramped inside. You feel like you are sitting in a Vantage. And the boot, that too isn’t as big as it looks like.
So it is safe to say a Shooting Brake Rapide may never see the light of day. Still, let’s see more pictures:
