As part of the ongoing centenary celebrations, British car maker Aston Martin announced the largest gathering of the brand’s new and old racing cars at the Brand Hatch circuit in July for a unique two-day race series. More than 100 race cars, dating from 1922 to the present day, are expected to turn up.

While it is very cool to see Aston Martin modern race cars, including the latest Aston Martin GT1, GTE, GT3 and GT4 models , the real attraction of this event is the oldest models such as the first Logondas. There are two races planned, one for pre-war era to the mid 1960s and second open to all Astons from the mid-sixties to present.

Besides the track action, there will be an exhibition of Aston race cars on the sidelines, with models like the pre-war Ulsters through to Nimrods and the Aston Martin AMR1.

Another part of this event is the James Bond exhibition, with a display of DB5’s  from the first appearance in Goldfinger in 1964 to its most recent appearance in Skyfall. They will wrap things up with a large parade of Aston Martin and Lagonda cars, which ends in a concourse with live music and dinner.
