It is really really hard to make sense of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, a car designed and built to celebrate the reunion of the British and the Italian brands. It is, in essence, a V12 Vantage dressed in a fancy Zagato suit. And it costs £396,000. But this is a limited edition of just 101. It’s a future classic; a car than in 10 years time will be worth 10 times its original price. Guess we’re beginning to understand it.

Enough with the logic and reasoning. What is the Zagato V12 like to drive? What’s it like as a car? To find out we have to go for a ride with AutoExpress‘ reporter Jack Rix who recently had the chance to grab this car by the scruff of the neck and go for a drive:

Rix has even came up with a solution to get your head around the Zagato’s price tag. He says don’t think of it as three times the price of a standard V12 Vantage, but one third of the One-77. Thanks Jackie, problem solved!
