The Japanese seem to love limited edition cars because every once in a while car makers, especially the Germans, release a special version of a certain model exclusive to JDM. The latest limited edition for Japan is based on the BMW 116i hatchback and it’s called the Fashionista.

Despite the name, there is not much fashionable about this car. The 1-Series is one of the ugliest cars in the world right now, and the features of this model hardly do anything to improve it.

You have the choice of three body colors, including Crimson Red, White III Arupin and Deep Sea Blue metallic, and you get chrome grilles, chrome tailpipes, and black window surrounds, in addition to a set of 17-inch alloys with 205/50 tires.

Inside the cabin, Dakota Oyster leather package is used to cover the seats, door panels, and the handbrake, plus gloss white trims. Extra equipment includes a rear-view camera, front seat heaters, and Park Distance Control.

Engine-wise, the Fashionista uses the same 1.6 liter 136 horsepower engine as the standard 116i with an 8-speed transmission.
