Track Test: Audi R8 V8 vs Porsche 911 C4S

As part of a thorough comparison test, Auto Express put two of Germany’s finest sports cars up against each other on the race track. We have the latest versions of Audi R8 V8 and the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. On paper these cars are quite different. The Audi has a mid-mounted V8, while the Porsche has a flat-six in the back. But both make the same sort of power, and both have sophisticated four-wheel-drive systems.

So in the real world the R8 and 911 C4S are evenly matched in terms of performance. Choosing one over the other is a tough job, because each of these amazing cars has its own charm. Guess the only solution is to buy them both!
