The new Range Rover Sport has already been leaked onto the web and we all know what it looks like, but that didn’t stop LR from a planning a big debut event for it. The car will be revealed in a live drive through the streets of NYC and it will be broadcasted on the web.
Now, that is cool, but it’s the 21st century and people expect something a little more sophisticated than a web show. So Land Rover has launched a microsite where guests have to register to get a special invitation to view the reveal. They will get access to a program that offers ‘the best seats in the house’ and be able to select a range of camera angles and viewing points from which to watch the reveal.
As for the car itself, while the official details are yet to be revealed, they say it is the fastest, most responsive and agile vehicle Land Rover has ever made. It will be lighter and much nicer to drive, but we’re not so sure about the looks.
