A 1965 Ferrari 330 GT once owned by the Beatles’ John Lennon is once again hitting the auction block at Bonhams’ Goodwood FoS event on July 12. The British musician bought this car new and put over 20,000 miles on it in two years.

After that the car has been treated as a collectible, having been restored in Modena back to its original specs with a lovely Azzure Blue paint job and a blue interior. This Ferrari model, like most old Ferrari models, is notoriously unreliable, suffering from various electronic issues. But it is a lovely bit of kit with a classic Italian cabin featuring a large ashtray. As the GT name suggests, this Ferrari was meant for the streets rather than the race track.

The 330 GT 2+2 was a limited edition of just 500 units, so even without its celebrity endorsement, this car is a highly desirable prospect for car collectors. It is the second time the car is offered for sale, and the auctioneers expect it to fetch between 180,000 to 220,000 GBP.
