Peugeot revealed the official racing livery for its magnificent 208 T16 Pikes Peak racer. They have put together a perfect team – including Total, Red Bull, Michelin and Sébastien Loeb – and built a very serious machine to win this year’s “Race to the Clouds” and set a new record.

Peugeot is no stranger to Pikes Peak. In fact, they have a long and glorious history in this place with the 205 and 405 T16 Pikes Peak race cars, peaked by Ari Vatanen’s memorable 1988’s victory.

The 2013 team is in a much better position to bring home another victory for the French team. They have a seven-time world rally champion driving an 875-horsepower monster that takes only 1.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h from standing still, and the road is fully paved up the hill. Can’t wait to see how this perfect combination will work out for Peugeot.

Loeb recently drove the the Peugeot 208 T16 for the first time and was amazed by its performance.
