APR Mustang GT 600x398 at APR Mustang GT Wide Body: SEMA Preview

Each year at the SEMA show, the biggest tuning show in the world, you find a sea of customized Mustangs each following the same recipe with big wheels, buffed fenders, and tons of horsepower. This is a preview of APR Mustang GT Wide Body package, and they reckon it is a lot more sophisticated than your run of the mill wide ‘Stang.

Unlike almost all the other Mustang projects that are designed for showing off, APR’s kit is all about precision and aerodynamics. It is designed to turn your Mustang into a proper track machine. So you get a chunky front spoiler with an air splitter, new fenders and wings that add 50mm to the width of the car, making room for some wide new wheels and tires, new sills, rear diffuser, and a large rear wing in true GT style.

The body kit is complemented with a whole host of other high performance parts, including a ProCharger Supercharger kit for the GT’s V8 engine; KW coilover suspension’ Stoptech brake package; MagnaFlow exhaust system; and Sparco racing seats. The traditional white racing stripes that run the length of the car finish of this treatment.

With specs like that we won’t be at all surprised if APR Mustang GT turns out to be capable of keeping up with Europe’s finest sports cars out on the race track.
