Things are starting to come together nicely and quickly at Saleen Automotive regarding their Tesla Model S project. Following their first announcement, they have now released official sketches of the car, showcasing the body kit and the special paint jobs it will be sporting.

Tesla Model S by Saleen is getting a thorough visual makeover thanks to a styling kit that modifies almost every panel of the body. There is a completely new front bumper featuring unique air intakes and a spoiler lip, but for some reason Saleen designers have removed the front grille.

The car also gets flared arches and new side skirts, plus a revised rear-end featuring a prominent diffuser and a pretty sizeable rear spoiler. There aren’t many modified Tesla Model S around to compare this car to, but it does look kind of cool and sporty.

As for the interior, the Tesla Model S by Saleen will be getting new leather upholstery with Alcantara inserts and red stitching. Alcantara is also used to cover the dashboard. Other details include carbon ceramic brakes, Saleen wheels, carbon fiber decklid trim, and a new paint called Orange County Orange. The car will get mechanical upgrades as well, details of which are yet to be released.

“I’m exceedingly proud of the work that my design team has done in creating these first images of what I expect to be an exceptional automobile,” stated Steve Saleen, CEO, Saleen Automotive. “We stand on the shoulders of greatness for sure, as we modify the truly inspired design of the Tesla Model S, yet I believe firmly that these images convey my expectation for a vehicle that expands on that heritage and creates something remarkable.”
