BMW has already confirmed the launch of a new full-size SUV called X7 sometime over the next three years. It is a part of BMW’s expansion plan for Spartanburg plant in America, increasing its annual capacity to 400,000 units. The car will also serve as BMW’s answer to Mercedes GL. But we don’t know anything about the X7 yet, which means we can let our mind roam free in picturing what it may look like. 

That is what Photoshop guru Theophilus Chin has done, and this is what he has come up with, representing a possible look for the 2017 BMW X7. The car will obviously look fairly similar to the X5, but it will be larger and more muscular. It is hard to tell at this stage whether or not Theo has hit the bulls eye with his rendering, but if we consider the X7 as an X5 on steroids, this image is probably spot on.

BMW X7 will be based on a modified version of the same platform that will underpin the next generation of 5- and 7-Series models. The seven-seater SUV will fill a gap in BMW’s range pointed out by their American customers who found the X5 to be a bit too small to accommodate their super-size bodies and luggage.
