It seems that even BMW was surprised by the huge success of the M235i model. They really didn’t expect such positive reaction to what’s essentially a hotted-up 2-Series, but the car’s simple recipe is so right, people often compare it to the M3 E30. BMW is now going to milk this success for all its worth by launching special edition models.

And this is the first one, the BMW M235i Track Edition. Limited to just 12 units and priced from a whopping 83,000 Euros, the Track Edition is inspired to some extent by the racing version of the M235i and comes with all sorts of M Performance goodies.

The car is equipped as standard with an M Performance aero kit including revised bumpers, front and rear spoilers, and side skirts. It also gets a set of 19-inch M wheels. Inside, the race car feel is brought on by an Alcantara-wrapped M steering wheel with digital display and aluminum sport pedals.

BMW M235i Track Edition has the same underpinnings as the normal M235i, meaning you get a 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line M Performance TwinPower Turbo engine with 326 PS, working in tandem with an 8-speed transmission and M suspension with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). ) to 100 km/h is dealt with in 4.8 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

Each BMW M235i Track Edition comes with a numbered plaque, which is sadly not enough to justify that mahoosive price tag.
