Scale models have become a menace to automakers effort in keeping their new product under wraps until their official debut. A few weeks ago leaked scale models gave us our first glimpse at the new Porsche 991 GT3 RS. Now they offer a first look at the new Land Rover Discovery Sport.

Set to be revealed in full production trim at the Paris Motor Show, the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport is a car JLR is particularly proud of. They say it mixes the unrivaled practicality and off-road capabilities of the old Disco with the cool look and sporty feel of the Range Rover Sport. It certainly looks good in scale model format.

The scale models reveal a couple of facts about the design of Land Rover Discovery Sport that are rather interesting. The SUV has a floating roof design, for instance, which is complemented with a full-length panoramic roof. The roof spoiler is also is a nice touch, and so is the silver accenting on the bonnet.

Seeing as the scale model version of the Disco Sport is presented here in two color scheme, one of them particularly sporty, chances are the British car maker is going to offer a hot SVR variant as well.
