The small Middle Eastern country of Oman is these days buzzing with super car activity. A while ago we saw pictures of the new Aston Martin Lagonda on hot weather testing in the deserts of Oman, now emerges from that places a few amazing photos of the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6.

The owner of this black Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 obviously intends to use the car the way it is meant to be used, which is out in the desert taking on extreme mountain passes and sand dunes, and going over them like they are nothing but small potholes.

These stunning photos show the 6×6 in its natural territory where it looks and feels a lot more at home than on the streets of London and Monaco. With 6 wheels, five differentials, three axles and two air pumps for the tires, this beast is probably the strongest civilian off-roader in existence right now.

Thanks to a 5.5 liter 575bhp bi-turbo V8 engine, Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 is a joy to drive on the road as well as off it. Some people seem to think it even works on the race track, but to be honest they’re stretching the limits of the car too far.
