Aston /martin has published brand-new pictures of its yet-to-be-released Lagonda luxury saloon, revealing for the first time bits of the car’s amazing interior. Last we heard about this car it was hot weather testing in the deserts of Oman.

Aston Martin Lagonda is a limited edition model built by the car maker’s highly secret ‘Q’ division which is responsible for custom and tailor-made models. It is specifically developed for the Middle East market, but one would imagine they’d also make one built to order is a European or an American comes up with a substantially fat check.

The Lagonda has one of the classiest names in the history of automotive, but technically, it is based on the rather outdated Rapide S and gets the same engine and drivetrain – a 6.0 liter V12 engine and a Touchtronic automatic gearbox.

What sets Aston Martin Lagonda apart, and makes it worth the massive asking price (anticipated to be over 200K GBP) is the bespoke bodywork which is dripping with character, and of course, the superb interior. The design is all Rapide, but the material used and the pattern on the leather and the dark chrome trim pieces, they make it feel like really special.
