Not everyone knows this, but Audi, like Porsche, has an ‘Exclusive’ department dealing with special orders and special edition models. They decided the holiday season is the perfect time to announce the launch of their latest creation, the 2015 Audi RS5 Sport Edition based on the Coupe model.

Audi RS5 Sport Edition is mechanically identical to the ordinary RS5s, but it’s been fitted with a number of exclusive RS features and extra garnish. The list is fairly long, but they may not justify the huge price tag of $87,575, which is why Audi has also limited the production of this edition to just 75 units, thus giving it more exclusivity.

So these are the main features of the RS5 Sport Edition: 20’’ 5-V-spoke design wheels with red brake calipers also available in Daytona Gray pearl effect, Nardo gray; multiple Audi exclusive paint colors; and Crimson Red Fine Nappa leather interior accent. You will find that nice leather on RS embossed sport seats as well as door cards and armrests garnished with contrast stitching. The steering wheel too is wrapped in leather, as is the shift booth, both featuring Crimson Red contrast stitching.

The drivetrain in 2015 Audi RS5 Sport Edition consists of a 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque4.2-liter V8 and a seven-speed S tronic transmission with launch control, and quattro permanent all-wheel drive. It delivers a 0 to 60 time of 4.5 seconds and a limited top speed of 174 mph.
