We were expecting to see the BMW i8 in any color but this, an utterly brash Austin yellow! Thing is, you’d think such a serious and sophisticated car as the i8 may look ridiculous in yellow. But actually it’s kind of cool. After all, this is an official BMW M4 color.
Granted, we are not big fans of showy colors and we don’t even like this shade on the M4. But we have to admit we quite like this Austin Yellow BMW i8, mostly because it is absolutely unique. The color is a nice complement for all the black bits on the i8’s body, of which there are plenty, and it also goes rather well with those cool ADV1 wheels. This car is reportedly the creation of JD Customs.
