Nobody will blame you if you call the latest BMW X3 a boring car. It looks kinda dull, and as for performance, it’s neither here nor there, meaning it doesn’t possess great off-road capabilities, nor is it particularly brilliant on the road. Even BMW themselves seem to think so!
Well, BMW Abu Dhabi, at least. They just unveiled a tricked-out BMW X3 M Performance which they reckon will address the issues of the standard car by adding a nice touch of sport and some exclusive visual features.
So how can you tell a BMW X3 M Performance apart from ordinary models? At the front, this model comes with a sports bumper featuring larger air intakes. This particular X3 also benefits from an Alpina spoiler lip. On the sides the M Performance kit adds a pair side skirts, and around at the back, a roof spoiler, diffuser-style bumper, and on this model, a set of quad Kelleners steel tailpipes.
The interior, apart from some ///M side sills, is pretty much standard, featuring Mocha leather upholstery and dark trim pieces. It is also the xDrive35i model, meaning it is powered by a 306 horsepower straight-six engine and boasts four-wheel-drive.
