To be honest with you we were a bit disappointed when we saw the new 2015 Audi Q7. Here we were expecting something less dreary than the old model, but they gave us something modeled on the Q3 and the Q5, which are worse.

So no, we don’t really like the new Audi Q7, and we don’t care how much lighter or more technologically advanced it is compared to the outgoing model. However, designer Theophilus Chin has come up with something that, if it were real, could generate a lot of interest in the German SUV. He’s redesigned the Q7 as a pickup truck.

Now this is more like it. What we have here is a high-end, luxurious, and very sophisticated pickup truck. And we are fairly sure this is the first time those words have been mentioned in the same sentence as pickup truck. Theo has done a good job of removing the tailgate area and turning it into a functioning truck bed with significant capacity. The Q7, after all, is a pretty sizable thing.

Is it just us, or Audi Q7 pickup truck does look a lot cooler than the SUV?
