Choosing the right Range Rover has just become a whole lot harder as the British manufacturer announces the launch of a new variant at the upcoming New York Auto Show. It’s called the Range Rover SVAutobiography and it is the most luxurious, the most expensive Rangie ever.

Range Rover SVAutobiography is the result of mixing the Sport SVR with the Vogue Autobiography by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations. The lavishly equipped SUV comes with unique exterior design enhancements, an exclusive premium leather interior with unique trim finishes and the option of a 550 PS 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine.

On the styling front, the new flagship Range Rover gets Duo-tone body colour option with Santorini Black for the upper part and nine colour choices for the lower body, Graphite Atlas and polished chrome front grille, and lots of SVAutobiography badges. Inside the cabin you will find some of switches as well as the pedals made from solid aluminium with beautiful knurled details, aluminium seat rail finishers and deep twist pile mohair carpet mats complete, aluminum coat hangers, and new armrests.

An option exclusive to the 2016 Range Rover SVAutobiography is a sliding loadspace floor garnished with aluminum and veneer, and it also comes with Windsor leather seats, leather-covered handbook and polished Autobiography key fob with knurled finish. Are these enough to justify the car’s £148,900 price tag? That is for the customers to decide.

Range Rover SVAutobiography can be ordered with the SDV6 Hybrid and SDV8 powertrains, as well as the 550 PS V8 supercharged engine.
