You would agree that it is kinda hard getting excited about the looks of the new Audi R8. I’m not saying it looks exactly the same as the existing model. I am saying it is a bit worse. So when he decided to render the 2016 Audi R8 Spyder, Theophilus Chin penned the car in its range-topping V10 Plus format, just to make things interesting.
Save the mesh grille up front and the wing and the diffuser out back, this is what the 2016 Audi R8 Spyder will look like. It’ll maintain the electric soft-top, but Audi may design a new engine cover for the new Spyder. Not that it would make a big difference, but leaving everything the way it was before will be conclusive proof that Audi designers are the laziest in the business.
The Spyder version of the 2016 Audi R8 will enable the onlookers to have a better view of the car’s fantastic cabin. It is frankly the best thing about the new model. As mentioned, all you get on the outside are some ugly new lights and revised grilles. And as for the engines, the V8 is gone and the V10 is slightly upgraded in both its normal and Plus versions. Who would have thought the e-tron version of the new R8 would be the most interesting member of the family?
