That’s right. The boys at SR Auto Group are now working on cars as high-end as the McLaren P1. Granted, the work is limited to bolting on a new set of wheels. But just the fact that they can say there is a SR Auto McLaren P1 buys them a lot of bragging rights.

In fairness, there isn’t much one can do to a P1 to improve it. The car is so advanced and so brilliant at its intended role that any attempt to change things may well end up ruining the whole thing. In fact, to tell you the truth we’re not even sure if changing the wheels is such a good idea anyway. The standard wheels and tires on the McLaren P1 are the result of years of development and testing.

This car appears to be the same white P1 they fitted a few months ago with some gold wheels. We are digging these grey ones more:

But if anyone can do it, and do it right, it’s the crack team of tuners from SR Auto and PUR Wheels. The rims they have chosen for the SR Auto McLaren P1 are PUR 4OUR.M2 models measuring 20×9.5 inch on the front axle and 21×12 inch on the rear. They are finished in an exclusive Matte Anthracite face with Gloss Davinci Red barrel. As for the cost of these wheels, if you have to ask you can’t afford them!
