As you know, a while ago Mercedes-Benz expanded the G-Class range by adding the new G500 4×4² variant. That car is like four-wheeled version of the 6×6, but it only comes with the 500 engine. If you want that car with the big engine, this Mcchip Mercedes G63 AMG is the only to go for now.

What Mcchip has done to make this monster is take their MC800 G63 AMG and fitted it with a bespoke KW DDC suspension system and raised axles, plus wheels and tires borrowed from the mighty G63 6×6. The result is a G-Wagen 4×4² that gives you 820 horsepower instead of 450.

The engine treatment for Mcchip Mercedes G63 MC800 includes upgraded turbochargers, custom exhaust system from Capristo complete with HJS sport cats, steel connecting rods, and a special software developed by Mcchip DKR. That boosts the output of the 5.5 liter AMG biturbo V8 to a mind-boggling 820 horsepower and 950 to 1,000 Nm of torque. The top speed is limited to 240 km/h, which is just as well, because you don’t want to go any faster when riding that high!

Performance aside, the SUV looks absolutely awesome with those wheels and tires and those massive suspension arms. You can go off roading with this car all day and then camp underneath it when the night falls.
