We are still waiting for German tuner Manhart to fully reveal their take on the BMW i8, which they teased us with last year, in its full glory. That doesn’t really matter now, as a fully ready Manhart BMW i8 was spotted in Netherlands the other day, flaunting a special paint job and the tuner’s unique touches.

The orange paint work alone on this car would be enough of a reason to make it one of the most unique i8s in the world. It just looks mesmerizing in this color. But Manhart BMW i8 also features a few more subtler details that contribute to the overall result.

The standard i8, as you may know, comes with a whole host of blue accents around its aprons, grille, and skirts. That is BMW i’s signature dish. You won’t see any of that on this Manhart BMW i8. Some of those accents are finished in orange to match he paint job, but most of them are painted a rich shade of black. At the front this treatment creates a very aggressive and sporty look, especially as it is paired with gloss black kidney grilles and heavily smoked lights.

This one-of-a-kind BMW i8 also comes with a set of Manhart wheels, also in black. That’s a very welcome change over the standard i8 wheels which frankly look rubbish and too small for the car’s bulk. In case you are not digging this color, we have a yellow and also a green one for you to look at.
